Brag Patch RV Park – Cancellation Policy

This cancellation policy complies with Alabama law and reflects best practices for campgrounds and RV parks. It outlines refund conditions, cancellation timelines, and guest obligations, ensuring transparency for both parties. All cancellations are subject to the terms below and are governed by the Brag Patch RV Park Terms and Conditions and Alabama Code § 35-15-30.


1. Campsite Reservations (Daily & Weekly Stays)

To cancel a reservation:

  • 14 or more days before arrival: Full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee.
  • 7 to 13 days before arrival: One night’s stay withheld as a cancellation fee; balance refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: No refund; entire reservation forfeited.
  • No-shows: No refund.

Additional Notes:

  • Early Departure: Once checked in, no refunds are issued for unused nights.
  • Date Changes: May be permitted, subject to availability and standard cancellation fees.
  • Force Majeure: In the event of campground closure due to natural disaster, declared emergency, or other unforeseen conditions, Brag Patch RV Park may issue a refund or future stay credit, at its discretion.

2. Pavilion & Event Space Cancellations

If you cancel a reserved event space:

  • 21 or more days before event: Full refund, minus a $25 transaction fee.
  • 14 to 20 days before event: 50% of rental fee refunded.
  • Less than 14 days before event: No refund.

Security Deposits:

  • Fully refundable if the pavilion is left clean and undamaged.

Park-Initiated Cancellations:

  • In case of weather-related closures or operational emergencies, the park will offer either a full refund or an opportunity to reschedule.

3. Monthly Site Rentals (28+ Days)

  • 14 or more days before start date: Full refund of pre-paid rent, minus $50 cancellation fee; security deposit returned in full.
  • Less than 14 days before start date: Security deposit forfeited; remaining rent refunded.

Important Notes:

  • Early Move-Out After Check-In: No refund of unused rent.
  • Termination for Rule Violation or Nonpayment: Governed by park Terms and Conditions and Alabama Code § 35-15-30. Rent, late fees, and deposit may be forfeited.

4. Final Terms

  • All cancellations must be made in writing: by email, through the reservation portal, or in person.
  • Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • The park reserves the right to interpret and enforce these policies in accordance with state law.
